BESPOKE
Sometimes it feels like there is something missing from an outfit. That finishing touch to elevate a look such as a veil or a belt, or an addition to the dress that will boost your confidence like a sleeve or topper. If you would like to make your dress unique to you then get it touch and let’s see what we can create together.
If you would like your bespoke piece to match your dress exactly then it is always worth asking your boutique if they can order the fabric or lace direct from the designer. I am able to source fabric for you, and will always strive to match it to your dress as close as possible, but having the exact fabric is a bonus.
Please Note: I do not currently make dresses except flower girls/communion.
VEILS
Veils can be made in any length or style, according to your individual needs. If you would like to have a veil made to match the lace on your dress, it is important that this is ordered through your boutique from the designer to ensure we have the exact same lace. If you are unsure how much lace to ask for please get in touch and I can advise you.
OVERSKIRTS & CAPES/HOODS
Another option to change up your look from day to night is to add an overskirt or a cape. These can be made in fabrics such as tulle, mikado or organza, and can have a details added such as lace or embroidery – there are many options to choose from which we will discuss based on the style of your dress and your requirements.
SLEEVES & TOPPERS
There are many different types of sleeves that can be added to your dress. From simple off shoulder straps to full length sleeves and more. I can also make detachable sleeves, toppers and boleros – giving you two looks in one!
FLOWER GIRL & COMMUNION DRESSES
Looking to make your flower girls match your theme and can’t find what you’re looking for? Would you like a flower girl dress made to match your own wedding dress using the same lace or fabric? I can make a variety of girl’s dresses for all ages in a wide range of colours and styles.
EMBROIDERY
Add a personal touch to your veil, dress, gloves etc, with customised hand embroidery. The most common request is the couple’s initials and wedding date, but I can also embroider entire quotes, flowers and more.
THE TIMELINE
The bespoke process can be started at any time before the wedding or event but please allow the following lead times:
- Veils: 4-6 weeks.
- Sleeves: 8-10 weeks with 2-3 fittings depending on the type of sleeve.
- Overskirts & Capes: 8-10 weeks with 1-2 fittings.
- Toppers: 10-12 weeks with 3-4 fittings.
- Flower Girl & Communion Dresses: 10-12 weeks with 3 fittings.
- Embroidery: 4-6 weeks.
THE COST
A bespoke/custom made service means that the item is made especially for you, with fabrics chosen by you and/or to your exact measurements. Individual care and attention is given to each piece with all your personal preferences in mind. These items are not manufactured in a factory but made by me in my studio. Therefore please be aware that costs will be higher than anything you can buy on the high street or online.
- Veils: simple veils from £75, lace veils from £150.
- Embroidery: starting from £100.
The following prices do not include the cost of fabric as that can vary depending on
- Sleeves: straps and off shoulder straps from £75, full length sleeves from £150.
- Overskirts & Capes: starting from £250.
- Toppers: starting from £300.
- Flower Girl & Communion Dresses: starting from £175.

I highly recommend booking a consultation to discuss your bespoke requirements. We can chat about the design and fabrics, and I will be able to give you a more accurate idea of cost. These appointments are charged at £20.
